Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Okay. Explain to me who you're accusing me of being a fan of because I have no idea. I mean, I know what I have posted on here that absolutely no non-Vol fan would make up.

I've been keeping the board informed on this search and the overwhelming response has been positive interactions and folks saying they appreciate it. If you don't appreciate it, that's perfectly fine, but making completely baseless accusations is unbecoming.
I dont care if you're a fan of the Taliban; and, within the rules of the board, you're free to post whatever your heart desires...in no way am I trying discourage that. I do not wish to silence anyone, no matter what they are saying...and, no matter how much I'd wish them to stfu. Because it's within my power to ignore.

However, I couldn't give a sh!t less what Gators are saying, making up, trolling, feeling, doing, or the like...ESPECIALLY!!! to the extent of post after post, page after page. I love Gator tears as much as the next Vol; but, if I wanted to read about ALLLLL!!! of their bullsh!t, I'd go to their sites...not come here to a VOL board.

I have tried to search to find a list of head refs for our games this year, as well as the last 5 years, specifically trying to search for David Smith. Funny how that info is hard to find. However, I did find that Smith called the following games: ‘22 @ SC, ‘23 @ Mizzou, ‘24 @ Georgia, and ‘25 @ Miss St. We only won 1 of those games. Interesting thing that all of those games are on the road. I know he’s called some in Neyland but can’t find them.

Add the 2019 games at home against UGA and Vandy. Lost big to UGA, but there is an article that said the officiating was awful. Beat Vandy, and it was the game Jennings didn’t get flagged but later got suspended for a half.

Also add 2021 home game against Vandy. We won. He seems to do a bunch of our Vandy games.

It just baffles me Vandy is about to get a favorable whistle in Neyland against us! VANDY!! We must be still paying the price for Sankey going to bat for us against the NCAA against the sanctions.

You guys go ahead and discuss that. I will keep my posting somewhere else.

What you're accusing me of doesn't even make logical sense. But I'm not about to sit here and go back-and-forth defending myself against something that doesn't deserve a defense.

I know there will be people here that appreciated what I brought and I'm sorry for them, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Continue to post the Gator stuff. I was just kidding about the conspiracy.

Nice

If you were sitting 50' to the right, you could catch one of Gilbert's field goal attempts. 🫤
True! Here with my sons today. We used to have season tickets behind the South end goal posts. They would chase after pregame kicks when they were little. Threw several back. One game he threw one back and missed hitting Anthony Munoz in the back of the head by about six inches. One of those slow motion moments in my life. Good times. 😁

Kentucky basketball fans have a dedicated site and spreadsheet with officials names, w/l record, fouls for and against, etc..... it's extremely impressive.

I've been documenting who's our head ref for the past couple of years because I couldn't find it either. You can search his name under my username. I've tried to add "for the record" in the game threads so I can find ref names quicker.
