Besides Dallas 4 of the top 5 are NFC North.
Those are some of the oldest franchises so yeah that’s expected. It’s also more of a NFC tradition. Lions, Cowboys, Bears, and Packers have all played at least 38 Thanksgiving games. Bills, Broncos, and Chiefs lead the AFC with 11 games played. Texans and Panthers are undefeated on Thanksgiving so one could argue they are the best Thanksgiving teams based on win percentage.

Are you a Lakers fan too? I didn’t know which was your NBA team.
I really started getting into basketball as Kobe was coming into the league and whenever they acquired Shaq. I just remember watching them on NBC growing up and seeing how good they were so I gravitated towards the Lakers. Anytime they were on it felt like “must watch” television.

VP22 is the reason I can’t ever have nice things.

Two of my favs Kobe and Shaq, too bad I didn’t appreciate them while they were in their prime.

I watched all of those championship runs live. That lob from Kobe to Shaq, the shot by Robert Horry, the turnaround by Fisher with 0.4 seconds. It was a great time to be a kid watching all those games.

I was a Magic Johnson fan so when they would play Boston, I was rooting for LA.
I didn’t live the 80s so I never really had that engrained Celtics hatred. I’ll always love watching Larry Bird highlights. It wasn’t until they formed their super team with KG, Allen, Pierce, and Rondo that I disliked them.

The 80s were a great time to live. A lot of great music & sports went together like
a moon pie and a coke.

Lakers and Celtics dominated the NBA in the 80's

Lakers won 5 championship
Celtics won 3
Pistons won 1
Sixers won 1
