Got a bad feeling about Vandy

A worse thing is I bet there are a few Vol fans that hoped we lost to Florida and still hope we lose to Vandy.

Only because we're already out of the playoffs and losing to Vandy at home would make their hope of getting rid of Huepel more legitimate. I mean they've already guaranteed he will Never win a championship, so why keep him? Right?
Yes I agree far too many negative feelings on this chat sometimes. Hell I’m guilty of it myself from time to time, but unlike some others here I admit that my feminine side causes me to over react with my emotions sometimes. The masculine side of me usually brings me back to reality and I react to facts and logic not emotions. I learned all this from reading Men are from Mars, women are from Venus😀 my logical side says we win!!

I see nothing wrong with this. The difference in you and the others is you humble yourself and come back to reality. You don't stick to your guns and double down in fear of what others think of you.

I was one of the few people to pick Tennessee to win in the Swamp last week.

I hate to say this, but I have a really bad feeling about the Vandy game. This ain’t your grandma’s Vandy. They’re a solid team. Overlooking them is a mistake.

They have 2 road losses. One to Alabama and one to Texas by 3. Both games the officials calls were awful.

Vandy is highly motivated. A win over Tennessee and a little help gives them a shot at making the playoffs. The Vols are only playing for a better bowl.

I hate to say this and I REALLY hope I’m wrong, but I see Vandy pulling the upset.
Why would it be an upset if Vandy wins? Oddsmakers are struggling with this one… Arguably, Vandy’s season has been more impressive.
Go Vols !

If they do, they will have made history. As of now, they are 1 and 41 against ranked TN teams and 0 and 22 against ranked UT teams at Neyland.

Do you know which year was their one win over ranked Tennessee?

Was trying to reply to this one. Please tell me the year.

Wasn’t that the year they had a girl kicker and nobody wanted to tackle her? Lol
I was asking if anyone knew, because I had no idea.

Might have been 2016.
That was the year that broke a lot of us after that hot start over Florida and Georgia. If we could have held on against A&M in that double OT game I think that season goes in a more positive direction.

No. That was 2020. They used her for a squib kick against Mizzou and an extra point attempt against us. Tackling her wasn't a factor as she was kept out of harms way.

Surprisingly, sports media recognized it was just a cheap publicity gimmick that has already been done countless times by highschools over the last 20 years and didn't waste too much time sensationalizing it.

That's why I remembered it. Despite how catastrophically the season turned after a 5-0 start, all we had to do was beat Vandy to make the Sugar Bowl.

Vandy is good, but it seems like our own fans forget, so are we. I think a lesson was learned after the OU game about what happens if you don't take care of business at home.

Hope our team is not as scared as you are.

I feel good about this game, especially in Neyland.

Vandy’s biggest wins are LSU and South Carolina. Maybe Missouri. LSU isn’t as good as they were supposed to be. South Carolina is awful. Missouri’s QB broke his leg.

They haven’t been as good on the road and haven’t beaten a team as good as Tennessee. I think we’ll win.

But Neyland needs to be LOUD, so if you’re going, make that little twerp Pavia feel it. All game long.
What is our biggest win?

The texas score is misleading to me. The final was a 3 point loss, but they were down 34 - 10 in 4th quarter . Not a bad loss but also took a desperate late rally after being dominated for 3 1/2 qtrs.
This 100%”Texas decided to pull a Tim Banks and the D decided to lay back and play a prevent and let Vandy get back to a 3 pt game!!!!’
