Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I have a 15 year old grandson who can not speak proper English, can not spell for crap, and can not write a paper yet he is fast tracked to attend college courses his senior year. All of this while his parents are told this is normal and have nothing to be concerned about.
Both are well educated and are professionals and are having him tutored in these area's.
It seems this is what you get when they (education departments) spend more time figuring out what book's to ban then reading, writing, arithmetic and god forbid critical thinking. SMH.
Cannot*

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Who will that be? Which UT alum is a high ceiling coach like Kirby Smart who will take the job? I think it’s a pipe dream waiting for some mythical die hard UT bleeding Orange coach who will win championships here and never forsake us. We had that with Fulmer and it ran its course.
Who cares if it’s a UT Alum?
Plenty of coaches spent long, long careers at schools they didn’t go to.
It’s not about where you went or where you’re from, it’s about where you want to be now and if you’re satisfied and happy with where you’re at now.
As for as I know Heupel is happy to be at UT.
Like I said before, either he is or he isn’t.
If he is you don’t have anything to worry about when others come calling.

The problem is that schools get funding based on success rates. So they pass students at all levels when they shouldn't because their funding will be cut if they fail them.

It really has nothing to do with politics and book banning and woke culture, it's all about money and incompetence (which stems from paying educators less than most developed countries in the world).

This is what you get when their top priority is getting the most $$$ from the federal government they can.
It’s the only reason the federal department of education exists,
Control what’s taught or not, by controlling what money the schools get or don’t get.

Eventually OU could come calling for Heupel. Maybe he’s “All In” until then. Eventually other opportunities can lure away a great coach.

Yep or family things can lure coaches away.

Not HC but at least a decent chance we lose RG this offseason if what AP has said for a while now is correct.
