It is the biggest game for Vandy. They have never had so much on the line this late in the season. I am just glad we are going to rip their hearts out tomorrow. We need to put lil brother back in his place.

This is only the biggest game from Vanderbilt's perspective. Much less is on the line for the Vols than was on the line last year. Even if Vandy wins (ain't happening), i think they still are going to be left out of the CFP.
True. Tennessee is, once again, simply going to a Florida bowl. Thankfully, no Ohio State lesson this year.

Wonder if the cold will lessen the impact of Neyland? I was unfortunately in attendance the year that James Franklin and Jordan Rodgers beat us late in the game. That was probably the coldest I’ve ever been at Neyland. The loss made it miserable.

I’m in my 70s, and I cannot think of the last time both were top twenty ranked and faced each other. Perhaps when Steve Sloan or GMac’s granddaddy were Vandy HCs.

Pavia amplified the importance for sure. I agree it’s probably the biggest in decades.

It will be sweet ending their playoff bid and the camera points to Pavia with a towel over his head when he leaves the field tonight.
