Will take a strong effort for us to win on their court. We have so many players that are not contributing anything much for the minutes they are playing. When they all get to contributing efficiently then we'll be hard for anyone to beat. I don't know if that will be this season. Seems some of the freshmen are having a harder learning curve in this system than some others in system run by other teams. Going to be interesting to see where we are at the end of the season cause if everyone gets up to their potential were making a huge run in the NCAA.

Yes, it will be a monumental task for a team with talented players but who are inexperienced at playing together. They will come around as long as there is no internal strife.

Yeah, I think it may feel particularly challenging for freshmen in Kim’s program because they have both significant basketball learning and UNLEARNING to do, and then the typical adjusting to life away from parents/home as well as trying to manage tougher classroom work all at the same time. It’s a lot!

I think it’ll be a close game. They shot the ball well last night but but our athleticism will challenge their guards in my opinion. Could see them winning but I don’t doubt we keep it close.

Game will definitely come down to shooting we can match them in every other part of the game rebounding, turnovers. Keep them off the foul line and shoot reasonably close and it will be a Tennessee win. Our shooting has been the question mark in every game except the last one and fouling to much. I am expecting to win the game.

I don’t think it matters Spearman has to step up her rebounding on both ends of the floor. Befoseason started I thought she would have gotten a lot better.

I think Kara is just an odd bird. She is brilliant and shows immense wisdom for someone her age, and those things are great. But I'm guessing her personality would take a LOT of getting used to for college-aged kids. She seems so deadpan serious. Maybe I'm reading her wrong and she can be playful sometimes and isn't channeling Basketball Yoda 24/7/365 -- but I doubt it.

Think that's the problem 3 x 3 doesn't teach 5 x 5 team ball. It usually helps learn to play one on one .

My family's Thanksgiving celebration was moved to Sunday this year, and so it is highly doubtful I will get to watch much, if any, of the live version of the Lady Vols taking on UCLA. I need intense prayer because I'm going to be so on edge knowing that the game is on and I can't watch it that I'm afraid that if my oldest brother makes even one of his typical inappropriate, ignoramus comments I may be tempted to stab him with a drumstick bone.
