I hate to give good advice to a gator, but since we no longer play yearly, the rivalry will fizzle out.

Yes, you didn't want kiffy. It is indeed an unanswered prayer for florida.

Why do I have a feeling that the powers that be at Florida have been well aware of that for days but put off the announcement until after Thanksgiving?

Having families of Gator fans sitting around the table talking about how crappy you are. Instead you give them a good holiday of thinking they are getting the coach they want.

Honestly man, as much as I hate to say it-that first line could have come from the mouths of many Vols in January 2010.

We were all well aware of what Lane was while he was here, but we had to defend the guy because he was our guy. When he bolted, exactly how badly we had allowed him to use us like a $5 hooker became apparent.

If nothing else, I hope Gator fans take a moment to realize that perhaps our reaction that fateful night was not as crazy as thought lol. It really wasn't about Lane in the end, it was more about us and our own self realizations of how we had been played. A feeling Florida fans could probably sympathize with right now.

This is the wrong time to not have your NIL game on point.

There is never a good time to have poor leadership at the top.

And this is definitely the wrong year to be in the market for a new coach, given those first two sentences.

0-12 is coming folks…..it’s coming.

I don't blame them really....

whoever they land now.......probably going to be an ugly bridesmaid when compared to the Lane Train

True. In the end though, I do think that the Gators will end up on better footing in the long run as a result of all this

Lane is like the hot chick in high school or whatever you kept trying to get with and kept making a fool of yourself in the process Then if you do by some chance end up with him, you find that your "prize" is not all it's cracked up to be.

Most likely this is their "January 2021" moment where everything has to be reset at this point

Atta-boy Larry.

No Vols on schedule next year, so gonna have to work extra extra hard to be 0-12.


Any push down there to move on from the current AD?


Hard to do with the basketball success hire.

AD seems ok at most sports excluding football.

Exactly my take.

They are lucky to not land Lane imo
