The Tactics remaster did not disappoint. It took me right back to my childhood.

I even started Tactics Ogre Reborn because I just wasn’t ready to be done with that style of game.

If any of y’all are considering buying the FFT remaster (Ivalice Chronicles), please do. Apparently SquareEnix is kicking around the idea of a sequel if it sells well enough.

I remember thinking the lead up to the game that I liked what I saw. I know it certainly is more of an action game than an RPG but I’m cool with action games too. Had good reviews besides Metacritc which is the only site I sorta take seriously anways so maybe not. What did you not like about it? Is the action dull just button mashy stuff with little depth?

Laggy as hell and not a lot of story to me.

Mostly just action which I hate since it's a RPG game.

I'll end up getting it soon, but I'm in the middle of Tactics Ogre still. Game is dense.

So for the first time ever I decided to invest in FF6.

Great game so far. Now all of the talk about how it’s better than 7.. nah. Not even close.

But I’m enjoying it.

Finally got around to playing the FFT remaster and holy cow was is every bit as captivating as it was when I was a kid.

I even found a mod to add Dark Knight into the game like they had in the PSP remaster. The grind to unlock it is INSANE but killing the final boss is one round was the perfect way to cap it off.
