his usf team was in the playoff discussion for most of this season

he'll now have resources to gather the type of team he wants to execute on a playoff run

sure he's competing in the sec, but it's SEC/big10 or bust if you want to win a title

i think he's going to give the texas schools fits

imo arky will come out of this awful coaching carousel one of the winners
Sure, at a G5 you can do so with 1 loss.

Now he's stepping into a 9-conference SEC schedule with fewer resources and less talent than 75% of the league. If he could take Arky's resources and talent back to USf's schedule, sure.

Outside of UGA and Bama, no other programs (currently) should expect to be in the playoffs. Texas is next up, should probably expect a 50% rate. The rest are fighting over the scraps of 1 spot, maybe 2 some years. I sure as hell don't expect Arky to surpass us. Or LSU if Kiffy goes there. Or Texas, A&M, Florida with a minimally decent hire, Auburn, we'll see what OM does with their hire (if one is needed).

If he's given a full 5 years, I'd give him about a 35% chance to make the playoffs one time (10%/year after inaugral).

Most pundits think Pavia is going to have a field day against our D.
This is the perfect game for him to "do too much" and turn it over 3 times. He's trying to have his heisman moment + make the playoffs. Remember when they couldn't stop us from making the playoffs last year? Well, we are going to absolutely do that to them, and him.

He ran his mouth too much in that Netflix special. Tyre West and Joshua Josephs are about to greet him. When he scrambles, I hope to God Perlotte is waiting.

Hey, Sandman. Arkansas is offering Golesh what he's making at USF. Might be one reason he stays. I bet they up it. Maybe he does leave. Doubt it's for Ar-Kansas.

I have a theory the settlers who founded Arkansas were trying to make it to Kansas and were refused entry. They then established OUR-Kansas which became Arkansas. Made that up but it's probably better than the truth.
I would consider that a slap in the face if I’m golesh. A bigger job should warrant bigger pay. Shows how much they value him vs how much they think of themselves. He should politely (and publicly) decline. If the might Arkansas wants him, surely others will too and not give him a low ball offer.

I don’t think that reporting was accurate.
