First Team Consensus All-American: Dalton Knecht.. walking bucket who scored from anywhere he wanted to score on the court.

Second Team All-SEC: Chaz Lanier... three point merchant who broke UT's best three point shooter - legendary Chris Lofton's single season 3pm record with 123 three pointers made.

Future First Team All-SEC: Ja'Kobi Gillespie... antoher lethal shooter who can drive to the basket and get a bucket. Rick Barnes saw what Florida had with Walter Clayton Jr and what Bama had with Mark Sears and he said you know what... I'm going to go get me the next one of them.

Coach Rick Barnes is on a generational portal run and I hope he has no plans of stopping any time soon! This guy builds a defensive juggernaut foundation and then goes out and snags the best offensive portal players out there. He's a genius at building rosters and getting them to buy-in.

The entire SEC right now...

Firstly, love the meme.

Second, DK won the Julius Irving Award. Chaz won the Jerry West. If Gillespie wins the Cousy award...holy smokes. Would be insane to do that 3 years in a row (tough competition w/ B. Smith at PG though)
*Erving (he's my all time fave so I'm sensitive)

If Gillespie has a couple more big games preSEC, and then we win the SEC, he will be a consensus first team All-American

...and which of the three will prove the best defender, by end of season?
I am very impressed with the game of Mr. Gillespie. 🙂
This feels rhetorical but I’ll bite to avoid the void.lol The best defender between these 3 is Gillespie, and I seriously doubt Daniel Kaffee could convince me otherwise. He’s just so quick. He might be undersized compared to the other 2, but jumps passing lanes, has awesome lateral quicks and can contest when put in a spot. Haven’t seen that yet this year, but watched him at Maryland meet a Cade size dude at the rim. He’s improving his stock this year, and might pass them at the next level in a few years. Another subject for another place. Sorry for the ramble
