Syracuse will be a tough out, honestly if they could hit Free throws they would've defeated Houston...

I hope we never schedule another power four team outside of conference again. It’s ridiculous that SEC teams have top five schedules and hard games almost every week to only be left out by two loss teams that play no one. This isn’t a charity, put the best teams in. I don’t care if other conferences get mad. We bring $$$ and views. From the CFP mouthpiece Heather Dinich herself:

CFP Bubble Watch after Tuesday's ranking: Who needs a win during Rivalry Week?
Trying to make sense of the constantly evolving playoff picture, conference by conference.www.espn.com
If Heather starts to tease that we are in the conversation again, then I think we can all start to get curious.
The only SEC team that I want to EVER make the CFP is Tennessee the rest can fall off the face of the Earth ...I hope we never schedule another power four team outside of conference again. It will also cause the big ten and SEC to eventually say screw everyone, we are the money and we will do our own thing. And then they are screwed. Whether the other conferences or teams want to admit it, college football is mainly the SEC and Big ten with some outside schools sprinkled here and there. But I’m sure we could grab those schools if we split off.in these early years of the playoff, they are seeking to diversify participants to spread the CFP madness/fever across as many fanbases as possible
once you get a taste, it's all you can think about
Starting next year it's going to get pretty crazy. The day before the SEC announced 9-game conference schedules, the CFP put out a statement that they're updating their (secret) selection criteria/formula. Basically reserving the right to put any team in. The SEC was waiting for that before they went to 9 conference games. Every 3-loss SEC team will be in the mix until the final selection show.I hope we never schedule another power four team outside of conference again. It is crazy seeing these old Pac 12 schools travel the country every weekEveryone knows it.
It's why Clemson and FSU are trying to escape their ACC contracts. And UNC. It's why VT publicly pledged a ton to their football and athletics, to eventually get plucked by the Big Ten or SEC.
My dream is for the SEC/Big Ten to eat up the entirety of CFB, and then there are like 64 teams at the top. Then one day they say "hey, we should break up into geographically sensible divisions" and we get the neo PAC/Big XII/B1G/SEC
Flow chartSEC and Big Ten are still deciding between a 14 team playoff or a 16 team playoff CFP going forward... Personally I believe it will be 16 next season...
5 schools guaranteed from both conferences
1 ACC
1 Big 12
1 Group of 5
3 at large bids...
