Those are simple facts. We haven't done jack squat so far this year to merit a Top 10 ranking right now.

My point is it doesn't matter how it comes if the resources are available to acquire it. Vanderbilt is about to flip a 5-star top 5 QB from Georgia. I feel like most Vol fans are in denial. I'm sure a lot of folks will tell me I'm the one reading this wrong. I don't see how that makes sense. I am not biased. I don't care if Vanderbilt is competitive with Tennessee for the immediate future. I think it makes it more interesting.

I've heard about that 5 star but until it happens it's just noise. Could be though, we'll see. The challenges are still going to be the challenges when it comes to Vanderbilt. Second rate facilities, atmosphere, challenging academics, though I believe that's been overstated for athletics, among other things.

The administration always says the right things about supporting athletics but when the academic dude gets jealous......

They've got a good thing going, tough to keep it up and replicate it there.

Yeah we played 3 playoff teams, 7 scrubs, and 1 Vanderbilt. That's just how the season shook out.
