You got the triple whammy of New York, family name and two miracle SB wins. Hence “not shocked”. It’s more likely he gets in later, but those factors could enable an undeserved first ballot.

What incentive could he possibly have to do that if by Friday we are all going to know where he's coaching next year? I don't know why you think it's equally possible he's lying to a kid he appears to want to coach next year.

Because I am a Tennessee fan I have to want Vandy to suck, as opposed to accepting the reality they do not? Otherwise I'm a Vandy fan? I have family members who are Vandy fans. I just have better perspective than you do.

No offense to the OP, but as I see more comments such as this from board members, I understand why I cannot relate to many of your takes. There is not one molecule in my body that is a casual football fan, wishes our rivals/competitors well because it makes things more interesting, or anything remotely similar.

I am for Tennessee and beyond that I pull for teams to lose based on what's best for UT or what can do the most damage to the NCAA/SEC establishment. The fact that someone has to win games that UT doesn't participate in, is just a necessary evil.

Here is why the problem is yours, my brother: you perceived what I said as me wishing Vanderbilt well. I didn't even slightly suggest that's what I was doing. It's really a Straw Man. I said them being good doesn't get me in my feels like it appears to get many others. It doesn't bother me. We're good too.

Having Thanksgiving Eve Lunch with Daughter, Mother and MIL tomorrow so getting ready to put Turkey in brine now. Everything else ready to cook. After Lunch tomorrow grabbing 530 am flight Thanksgiving morning to fly to Kansas to have Thanksgiving dinner with our Son who graduated in May from UT and is working in Wichita (SHOCKER).

I am beginning to believe he might be creating drama on purpose.

The longer he drags this out the more it hurts Florida and LSU in recruiting.

If he goes to Florida or LSU, he is going to have to work his ascii off before ESD.

Could he be doing this on purpose?

I've been thinking about that and I'm not sure, but I do think it's more likely than him leaving for LSU or Florida. Could be wrong.

They called a foul on a layup when literally no vols were within 3-4 feet of him. Also missed an obvious 3 point foul on ament, and while stealing the ball, the Houston guy took 2 steps, then spun around, then took another step. What are we supposed to do bro. They're just giving them points
