After they got rid of divisions, they're never going to reestablish them again without some overseeing governing body forcing them to do so.
Exactly. LT plan one would think dependent on Other conferences and NCAA. Think ahead to a farm type NFL structure. I hate it, but 10 years from now college football will not look the same as most of us knew it.

None of the above.

The only states with multiple teams would be Texas and Florida. Vandy, Auburn, and MSU would be hanging out in the Sun Belt.
Exactly. None of those poll choices fit the profile of the SEC and that includes Vanderbilt. (That being largely state/land grant universities.) Vanderbilt got in a long time ago and we just put up with them to raise the conference GPA. They’ve been sponging off the other schools’ athletic income for years.

None of them. To be totally honest, I would like to remove some teams. If not, we need to change the name. We are not the Southeastern Conference with teams from the Midwest as members. JMHO

I feel like Kentucky would also not be in the SEC. Maybe their basketball is strong enough to keep them in though.
They'd still be in. 26th most populated state isn't great, but it South Carolina and Alabama each got a team included and (on the lower ends) Arkansas and Mississippi each got a team included, then the state of Kentucky would easily get a team included.

I think we'd skip all of them, and Vanderbilt would be where it belongs in Division III with Emory, instead of aspiring to have facilities as good as Mississippi State's.
