True. And people shouldn't be complaining about the price to go across country either. The prices are low enough that you get completely full airplanes and people wearing shower caps and pajamas.

The way to stop it is to raise prices.

That's a way to stop the completely full airplanes. As long as they don't stink or act up, who cares what they wear? And that goes for passengers too.

I'm not disagreeing with any of you on all this. I think Mr. Duffy is out of his lane so to speak in that - while I would love to see civility return to the industry - the fact is that people are animals when put in large numbers in a confined space and you cannot dictate what they are going to wear. (But, I made a guy change his shirt once that said FU(K *something or other*) However as I stated it is market driven. If you want to fly to Tokyo in luxury, it will cost you $20K. Don't want to pay that? Back in Gulag class with fat boy and pillow girl for you.

I want to sit in a skybox at Neyland too, but....

I really don't get the energy spent in revulsion to a pair of sneakers. Especially from people who are generally have a "live and let live" attitude. Why would I care about what someone is wearing for footwear? I don't own a pair of NBs but by all accounts they are very comfortable.

Is it some inside joke that I don't get or something?
