Yep. Good coach. I worked w/ his daughter yrs ago. I’m a huge Steelers fan but never asked too many questions about her dad.

When he retired, Woody went to Destin to work in a toll booth so he could be around people.

Eh, thats giving him a bit too much credit. He was a defensive coach there in the 70s but Perles and Carson were the defensive coordinators during the first 3 Super Bowls. He didn't become defensive coordinator until 1979

And as Joe Greene would tell you, the Steel Curtain was the defensive line, not the entire defense.

Without research, think he went to our recent opponent, New Mexico State, at one point..

May be wrong about that one.
