Sort of my personal reservation of next election cyle and why I lean Rubio. He's effective and keeps enough space. But, you can also argue Vance is just trying do do his job and is kinda caught in a bad spot. If he could be Veep in more of a Rubio manner of being SoS, he'd been golden for 2028.

My point is that this has been reported ad nauseum since 2016. Us Ohioans in particular knew it before we elected him Senator. Americans knew it before electing him VP a year ago. This is not news

China has never been a democracy. Even after the 1911 revolution it wasn’t a democracy.

No. But, I am speaking of where he is now and well positioned for 2028. And at a much better advantage than Vance from being tied to Trump for the duration of his campaign.

I'm also aware of how the dems did the same thing with Biden until that fateful debate. It is Hollywood East afterall.

So how is he any different than Vance in that respect?

That was a reply to Name an example of a country the sheer and immense size of the US that lost democratic gov't to dictatorships.
In 1913 China had an elected bicameral legislature, which is a democratic government body, It didn't last long and the country moved to dictatorship.
