I watch his content from time to time and I tuned in tonight just to see if he would mention anything about last night and there wasn't a single mention of it. Not surprising since he's originally from the disgrace of the south (georgia) and I believe is married to a bama reporter or something along those lines, but it's laughable how much of a homer he is for both of them and how obvious he makes it. He did mention the vandy game but it was nothing special. Just another typical espn clown.

I don’t know who you’re talking about but I would imagine any national host isn’t going to spend time talking about a game that had zero bearing on the national title hunt. There’s one week left in the regular season and all eyes are on the CFP.

They haven’t mentioned anything about Tennessee’s big win on Sunday Night Football. NBC shills hate the Vols.

You mean he didn't cover a game between the 8th place team and the 12th place team in the SEC? What a bleep hole!

He's the best at his job. He has always been fair to Tennessee. He's not a homer. He does a great job talking college football

I think Josh Pate has great content and he has been more than fair to the Vols.

You think he likes Tennessee? No. You think he hates Tennessee? No. He's just rambling - and the brother does ramble - and cashing those automatic deposits from the sponsors, man. He skips teams when they're not in the hunt or have some big story or controversy brewing, and that's Tennessee right now. He won't have that much more to say about us unless we lose to Vandy. You'll get a "Heupel shouldn't be on the hot seat" or a "Heupel took a crappy situation and made something out of it" take somewhere in December probably. Hopefully because UT is 9-3 and headed to a decent bowl game.

This. The next time we make news will either be bowl results or James Franklin hiring Banks as his DC.

Why do we have so many fans that so desperately need constant affirmation from media/sports entertainment? Why does it matter that he didn’t mention our game? What impact does it have? Why are so many so thin skinned that they look for every opportunity to feel slighted? You want those guys to give us a cookie for beating a 3 win team? It’s exhausting.

As many negative fans as we have, we have just as many with the thinnest of skins

Uh....he's a Nebraska fan. He's said it numerous times.

Are you going to be okay?

Never took him as a homer, always seems pretty fair, IMO.
I think he is fair with regard to teams and programs. However, he unfairly projects himself as important and all- knowing.🤓

Have you seen the interview where he offers himself up to be the first college football commissioner? Maybe it was satire and i am too dumb and/or old to pick up on it. But it was pretty ridiculous IMO.

Same...fast forwarded thru podcast and no mention. Thought he'd at least tag it in run up to Vandy game. Even talked about FSU. I like him, but he loves to talk about LSU/Penn State coaching vacancies...same content every week.

To each his own I guess. I really like Pate's show. He's very fair and really likes UT but the truth is the game the other night really only mattered to us Vol fans. He only does recaps of the top games.

Pate has a high opinion of himself, but he does a good job for what his show is. Why do we need hours of "content" that consists of someone flapping their gums about college kids playing a game though? It's bad enough we spend hours watching said kids play said game without spending additional hours listening to some guy gab about it.
