This win means a lot. At UF. Yeah, beating a 3-7 team is not big, but winning at a place for the first time in 22 years is a big win.

Also, starts a 2 game winning streak against the gators. Another reason for it being big.

We have lost to poor UF teams in the past. This time we left no doubt.

Georgia scored 7 points in the second half against Charlotte. Not a championship program

Yeah someone was complaining the 2nd half is where me missed Golesh. Im thinking, didn't we lose in Gainesville with Golesh? Didn't we lose to Pitt at home?

Everyone talking crap about Heupel wasn't here for the end of butch and the Pruitt years. If he can win next week you'll be able to say for the first time in a long time that UT was potentially 3 plays away from a perfect season this year.

Pretty sure beating UF in the swamp after 20y means more than zilch for most of us regardless of what happens next week.

I was a sophomore in college the last time we had a 2 game winning streak. I remember being in the student section when Wilhoit hit that 50 yard field goal.

Exactly.. we have been beaten soundly by terrible Florida teams for no explanation in the swamp 😂 this is a monkey off our backs and a pretty big deal.. they are going through upheaval and having a bad season.. who cares, it still counts 😂

It is a great win. Enjoy it.

And just a reminder to all, alcohol is a depressant, so get some water and hydrate if you're struggling enjoying it.

If you're sober, find a better counselor or clergy member to help with that BVS.

It's not a big deal at all. Florida is now 28 - 34 since 2021, which is worse than Kentucky and on par with Arkansas, Auburn, and Mississippi State. I can give Heupel a pass for losing in '21 with it being his first year, but Florida beating us in the swamp in '23 is one of the worst losses on Heupel's record. I think you'd have to say the choke against Oklahoma this year is a worse loss than Florida in '23 simply because of it holding us out of the playoffs, but that '23 loss stings me more than the SCAR loss in '22.
