Just saw her stats from last year. 27 against South Carolina in their season opener last season. 30 against UCLA. Wow. Very impressed. One of those players who, when they beat you with a crazy shot, you just have to throw up your hands.
Folks like this really just talk for clicks.. social media people try to make the sport about them. I’ll give credit to Michigan but pump the brakes on this nonsense.
They were terrible in the 1st half. UConn has played a very weak schedule.
They hit a slump that 3rd qtr it happens.
Tennessee can very much beat UConn team I just watched again this season.
I posted this elsewhere but Coop is 4th in the entire NCAA in +/- right now. She has to play more than 23 min/game.Last season Vic Schafer straight up said, “I love what she’s doing but at some point she’s going to realize, like the rest of us, that she has to have her best players on the floor the majority of the game.”
I do feel Coop and Zee have been given more minutes this season but we would like to see Coop and Barker out there for at least 35 minutes a game and then rotate 3 in three 3 instead of 5 in 5 out.
We really look more talented than either Louisville and Kentucky whether we beat them or not only time will tell.
We could've had Ziegler here at Tennessee instead went for Todd who went elsewhere and ended up with Robertson. Still hoping Robertson can get it going and help us.I’ve been really underwhelmed with the ACC overall. A lot of talent has transferred out of that league over the last three seasons and it’s showing.
We owe Kentucky one. Last season they were not a good matchup for us and we just hit them at the wrong time. Amoore was a one woman press break. Morgan isn’t anything that special.
