So is Joey trying to come back for another year or did he join the lawsuit in support of JUCO players?

BTW, if he wants to come back that would be absolutely massive and anyone not wanting that is crazy. No way Gmac or Faizon would put the numbers he would next year. Bring Joey back and portal a top 25 defense.
Please portal an explosive RB. A Kamara...a Jeanty type. Give me a gamebreaker, because the current stable is just ok (relative to how well RBs do under this run-friendly scheme).

Least YPC since Heupel arrived. Hard runners, but just not enough explosiveness.

Do you guys think we catered the offense to its strengths or am I overplaying Jim Chaney’s influence on this year’s team. We just don’t run the ball as much it seems.

Your assumption is a green starter could replicate a 5th year senior leading one of the nation's top offenses (despite a pretty meh run game) and a porous defense.

But if we go 7-5 with a young buck next season, you'll be the first for a full-on revolt 😒
Nah, my stance on Heup has been he gets through BF, then see where things stand.

But yes, Joey is fine on deep passes, but leaves a lot to be desired on intermediate and short stuff. Hes better than pedestrain that GM labeled him as , but hes honestly pretty mid.

Forgot that noise. You can build new rosters every year now.
Sure, but sometimes it's short-term vs long-term planning. I mean, if you see an "all in" year coming, ok. Otherwise, still need to plan for the future.

The "surprise" teams tend to be schools with a ton of veteran players. Vandy is the oldest team in the league. We are the youngest. Good times ahead, but we aren't selling the future away.

No, I think we should trade a potential playoff season and Heisman candidate senior QB (who is the active national leader in total offense and has thrown for 200+ in every single game he's started) for a true freshman and a 6-6 season. I'd rather have the freshman, just because I want to see how he looks, and I won't complain about missing a bowl game or a 6-6 record.

It's hard to believe these thoughts go through someone's brain and they decide it's brilliant.

If mid = being top-10 out of P5 QBs in QBR...then ok haha. I think INTs are his main issue and we all knew that and signed up for it before the season.

If you told anyone preseason we'd have a top 10 QB with the #1 P5 scoring offense (#1 SEC offense by a whole 5 ppg more than the next team + #1 scoring in conference games by 2 ppg), with a brand new QB with 3 months to learn the offense...I mean, how spoiled has Hype made us? 😅

Dorkwitz really is an underwhelming coach

He has recruited DL well, I will give him that. Aside from games where he has the advantage in the trenches, he just calls a crap game. He is bad at situational football. He is on the top end of the Shane Beamer-Butch Jones tier of coaches.
Recruited? Both Wilson and Young were transfers...it is just about how you prioritize paying players..

OU and Mizzou have the type D's I think our Vol program deserves.
We've had a better scoring D than this year's Mizzou the last 3 years running.

OU is very, very good for a modern defense, under 15 ppg is excellent. When your HC is the best DC (imo) - that happens. Like our offense. Our defense was right there last year before the OSU game...finished at 16 ppg allowed.

Need to see nice improvement next year. Below 24 ppg should be a bar that's very attainable and would have us in the race very much so. Probably be 9-1 rn with just that level of defense.
