Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2025-26

notre dame, to me, isn’t a top 25 team. MAYBE 20-25. usc has the talent, but with LG as their coach, they won’t win anything big. she’s a horrible coach.

I agree, she’s an incredible recruiter but she can’t coach a lick. I have a hard time understanding what her appeal to players is.

USC team has a lot of flaws and it’s not just the coaching. Davidson didn’t look like a former #1 HS player tonight.

Tonight she just looked like any other freshman.

I’ll maintain a lot of that was due to poor coaching and putting her in bad positions handling the ball when she is clearly not comfortable.

I do not think Azzi Fudd is a pro. She’ll be drafted but I highly doubt she makes a WNBA roster.

Pure shooter but she just doesn’t have that extra something you need in the pros.

Sarah Strong? She’s has allllll of it.

This one is overrrr

Dang I had really high hopes for this game. Michgan came out scared and you just can’t do that with UConn.

That’s what I was most proud of when we beat them last season. We looked fearless from the jump. Sam Spencer in particular was not afraid.

Players are moving like they’re stuck in mud in this game.
I also think it’s amazing how with so much contact there’s only been 4 fouls called on both teams.

Michigan is 2/20 shooting. They are missing open looks too. Not impressed at all. Michigan looks like a team full of underclassmen.

Another delusional take. The pace has been crazy. Each team had 20 looks at the bucket in that quarter. That extrapolates to potentially 80 possessions per team which is a very quick pace.

Only difference is Michigan came out tight and can’t hit the broadside of a barn. UConn defense has been excellent, to be fair.

They’re likely to repeat this year. Strong makes them really, really hard to beat.

I’ll take delusional over your irrelevance.

First time I’ve ever heard a commentator say throwing the ball all over the place lol… this ain’t got nothing to do with no pace.
This is bad basketball.

Michigan winning Q2 but that run to open the game is likely going to be too much for them to overcome unless UConn just implodes for some reason
