Agree. Bet Rick does as well.I like our group of guys, but it is still going to take some time to find the best mix of guys, that all understand their roles on the court and gel well together. I saw a step forward at times against Rice.
Beating Houston may not happen, but shouldn't be too concerning. This is a team that should gradually improve over the course of the season and hopefully be peaking by the time March rolls around.
I dunno. I think having a lot of different pieces that we didn't have before might keep us from having the huge scoring droughts. We might play a lot of people, and perhaps play Ament more strategically than usual.I think Houston is not quite the level they were last year and could be taken. I imagine we'll have a more regular sub pattern and lineup so as to avoid a little bit of the sloppiness from the last game. So, I feel as if we have a good chance of winning this one. However, I also think Ament could struggle quite a bit with the step up in physicality, which he's shown a bit of an issue dealing with as a young kid still developing.
Likely won't win it, but our guys will get a taste of elite defense played by some stout and very physical competition. One thing is certain....they'd better make rebounding more of a priority or Houston will abuse us.Don't really watch basketball as much as football, but I don't see a way to win it.
