Yeah, Heupel clearly has no idea how to manage a clock or a game, for that matter. It's not like he did something like outscoring a Saban led Bama 10-0 the last 4 1/2 minutes of a game including a 45 yard drive that took 15 seconds leading to the game winning field goal. As a matter of fact, the 44 games he has won are mostly a result of dumb luck.

So true…lots of people see what they believe. Plus you gotta recognize the ratio of intelligent to really stupid people is extraordinary low here compared to the general public…

That's true, but there's a lot more than those two plays that could've been better, as I'm sure you're aware.
I'm not breaking it down to two specific plays. I mean the field goal very well could have erased a game full of mistakes and years of hurt, but my point was that's the opportunity that we wasted. We could easily be a one loss team. Way up in the rankings and in line for Atlanta. Even losing at Alabama, which also didn't have to happen.

Georgia wasn't ready early and we should have got their ass. Oklahoma was a game that was winnable. Meaning they both were not clearly better than us (like in the past) and we could have won either one with a good performance.

Which is my problem with this regime. Where are the good performances? All excuses aside, we should damned definitely look like a well oiled bunch. There is no reason to be so sloppy and undisciplined. The execution mistakes where one player blows a block and a 54 yard run becomes a 4 yard run. Repeatedly false starting and ruining drives. Piss poor zone coverage every week to go with big mess of missed tackles.
And all of that starts at the top. All of it.

We wasted a year that could have been something. And we found a qb, so it ain't that. It’s the operation. And how it's ran. Call it what you want. I call it ********.

All I can do is hope they get better starting Saturday.
