Insane take. It’s not like frank was going to be coaching much longer regardless. The fact that we had his replacement on staff and immediately made the hire (pitching coach) confirms this.

For everyone freaking out about Frank, Josh Reynolds has already been doing A LOT of work with the pitchers.

He did pretty much all of Frank’s recruiting from different podcasts I’ve listened to

Frank had been grooming him to take over when he retired. That could have been the end of the year. I don't know how long he really planned on going. It wasn't more than a couple. It's a new day. Change is the only part of life that is inevitable. Seems a waste of time to do anything other than embrace it.

Tony is dead to me now.

I’m at peace with Tony - he built something here, won a title, made a ton of great memories. He also left behind a quality staff that appears capable of sustaining good baseball. If he had quit halfway through and left the program in a hole without achieving a title, I’d feel differently.

It’s only annoying because Tony is taking from Josh, but it seems like a plan was in place & Josh knew who he wanted for these openings as they’ve came open.

Season has started though, would be great if Tony could poach elsewhere.
