A run game and defense can and has won. Take the '85 Bears or the Tim Tebow Gators, heck the Vols in '98, none had great qbs They won by playing defense and running the ball. There are a myriad of examples throughout history where this the case.
There are also many examples of teams that were offensive juggernauts with qbs with gaudy numbers and lost, the B12 for crying in the creek. Defense never goes in a slump and travels.

You’re example of 85 bears , Tebow gators or 98 Vols all support my argument that defense alone doesn’t win championships.

McMahon , Tebow and Tee Martin were all really good QB’s.
I said the QB doesn’t have to be great but bad QB’s aren’t winning championships!

Change a single play in GA AND OK games and we are 9-1. You should probably just chill. Margins are closer than ever and sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way. It happens.

Change a couple plays in the Ark and Ole Miss game and we’re 5-5.

There has been this guy on the Swamp 247 board Gator Raid who started posting as an insider when it's pretty obvious what he is posting is usually reactionary to whatever news gets made public, but he's assured Florida fans that Kiffin already has a MOU signed with Florida and that Lincoln Riley is betting vetted as the back-up plan. Also the Sumrall news he was pulling his name out of the Florida was a diversion. He's also being vetted currently.

I like it when a coach actually acknowledges the game, it's importance and even has the ability to look to next week.
