Let's be honest, it's much "easier" to exemplify such qualities when you're a walk-on. Not much other choices.

I don't know if this might not have been mutual. It's been well established Frank just wants to coach a couple more years, and largely to coach this crop of pitchers. Meccage is a longer-term solution probably. By the way how is Mc Cage not a hitting coach? Or he could have just stolen the name from a Marvel character so no one calls you Francis Ford Coppola's nepo nephew. He truly would have been the best Superman by far though, to be fair. Geez, we went on a journey.
