This notion of some of the documents as "classified" has come up in just the last two weeks. Coincidentally correlating to Trump's about face on release of everything Congress is "legally entitled to."

It’s not propaganda when it has come out of Democrat Leadership mouth. It takes the ultra wealthy so there is jobs. A lot people don’t want to work and just complain about the wealthy

It won't take long for us to know if documents are being withheld due to security classification. Instead of pre-bitching why not wait to see what happens?

86% of Americans under the age of 65 are actively in the work force. So it seems like people work and complain about the rich, eh?

I obviously have no choice in the matter. But you must admit its strange and there does seem to be a connection to it arising as a reason to withhold documents just about the time Trump is suddenly in favor of releasing some, but not all, of the documents.

Speaker Johnson is ignoring the inconvenient fact that there is enough Republican support among his House of Rep. colleagues to pass the bill to the Senate.

Some of that support has even been quite vocal. Why isn't Speaker Johnson being critical of Rep. Thomas Massie? It seems like Johnson wants this to appear to be a completely partisan issue ..... when he knows damn well that it's not. These files would have remained undisclosed to the public if it was.

Just the Democrat politicians that are wealthy and the people who don’t want to work. I’m sure the 86% is because of the last administration forcing them back to the workforce

I haven't seen anything about Trump mentioning classified JE files and withholding them. All I've seen is that the resolution going through congress allows the withholding of classified files, which is probably pretty standard language in something like this.

Your earliet question is, what could be classified in this ? My natural subsidiary questions are whether what we all would understand to be classified matches what the administration will deem qualified, and who is calling that shot.

Given the intense efforts to block it, and the turnaround as this classified thing emerged, these are reasonable questions.

And the "legally entitled to" comes from Trumps posting on this in the last few days. Its a new qualifier he has added in. Which further marries to someone taking stuff out and we dont know who and we don't know why.
