Almost looks like the Rice player fell into it, potentially hyperextending it. Best case scenario. Painful and scary, but hopefully no ligament damage. It didn't appear to be hit from the side which is typical of ACL injuries, so hopefully he avoided the worst. Being able to put some amount of weight on it is a good sign.I rewound it and can’t tell what actually happened to JP’s knee.
#32 did something to him. When that guy went to the ground, Estrella was starting to bend down like he was going to go for the ball too. His arm was at Estrella's waist and it almost looked like the guy put his weight into Estrella to get the ball and that arm came down, maybe even his elbow on his knee.I rewound it and can’t tell what actually happened to JP’s knee.

PCLs are more common with the direct, front impact. Hopefully it’s just a hyper extension.Almost looks like the Rice player fell into it, potentially hyperextending it. Best case scenario.
