Also the protection. The offensive line's still allowing about 4-5 sacks a game and leading the league in most sacks allowed.

That also needs to be upgraded or improved, whether it's for Cam or the next QB.

I’m all for continuing to improve the OL, but the sack rate ain’t all on them.

It’s unlikely, but if Concepcion somehow drops to the second round, I really hope we pick him up. I also would love to see us go for Skyler Bell or Cooper Barkate in the later rounds, they shouid be available in the 4-6 range and both have a lot of upside imo.

I also agree with @KB5252 that drafting another QB would be imbecilic. I’m certainly not 100% sold on Cam yet, far from it, but he deserves a chance with the next coaching regime. Get him some receivers and blockers and see what he does, patience needs to be shown here and we’re in no position to compete next season anyways.

I don't think they suck, I think they are inexperienced and suffer due to the lack of not having a true number one receiver to play off of

I get it, but I think the need for an edge is too great to punt it. And even if I didn’t think that the odds of us not going with that is pretty low. We’re taking a second round guy more than likely so you’ve gotta be realistic.

Also, Puka Nacua alone should tell you that a later round guy can take over. I’ll leave it at that.
