The difference between flarda and UT...at least since the 1990s...is that flarda can go 5-7 last year and STILL land the #6 freaking class in the nation because their state has 20 million plus people and enough good HS players to fill out HALF the roster at flarda, miami AND FSU.

They are 3-5 yesterday with the #10 class. We have to go 9-3 or better to land classes like that full of kids from all over. If we lose half our games, we land those classes ranked around 18th like the last 3 coaches before Hype did for about 15 years straight. I hate them so much. I hate the pups...but not nearly as much as I hate the gators.

The fact that they have had a sunbelt coach with a piss poor record the last 4 years and they could recruit as well or better than ours is telling.

Nobody wants to accept or hear that though. They do have the advantage of a talent rich state though.

Why is Lane considered the hot commodity by the media and most fan bases when CJH has had one less year here than Lane has had at OM and CJH has a better resume in that time? Despite taking over a far worse situation. LK didn't beat a ranked opponent on the road until this year

We won’t lose to Vandy, we just don’t do that even with Heuple, very few TN coaches own a Vandy loss. He loses that one and I’ll have had more than my fill.

His disadvantages at Ole Miss are the proof. They have no where near the NIL or facilities we have. The only advantage OM has is the college town atmosphere.
