Thoughts on leaving Joey in so long?

My guess is they planned to have young guys play with a healthy deficit at the half, maybe like 35+ or so. This means that Joey’s streak probably would’ve kept going, not that it was the main objective but more on the fact that to get this score by then we’d be doing well on offense.

Obviously, that didn’t happen.

At that point just forget the record. He’s the one that threw two interceptions, he had his opportunities.

He never allows his QBs get quality reps. No wonder we look to the portal with QBs that actually have playing time.

They simply were scared of NM State’s defense against our 4-5 star backup QB’s.

Joey might have wanted to play i think its fine.

Dumb how?

It’s his players her recruited that he chose not to play….he didn’t play the backups last year either.

do better than some go be a Bama logic

Why does someone have to go root for Bama because they say something you disagree with? Truth be told Heupel has mismanaged several QB situations, including the one where he way underplayed Nico as a true freshman and then gave him the job last year with only Merk and a Walk on to back him up. Someone else besides Aguilar should have gotten more playing time in this game. If you want to discuss the reasons why, I can do so without trying to pawn you off on another team.
