Imagine if that happened for our team. NO mouth breathers, I absolutely do not want Josh fired. I just want him to tweak his coaching staff.

Yes. We got dog raced and some got raises. And then we promoted another coach who was an analyst. We have better coaches as analysts this year than on field coaches. We spent top ten in NIL and top three in recruiting for a likely 8-4 season. I’m sorry, that’s not good enough.

I agree. But he seems like he just wants to promote from within and he has never fired a coach. I’m afraid his unwillingness to upgrade staff will be his undoing. We have to upgrade our staff and talent immediately. This team does not look anything like it should for one of the most expensive in college football.

Other things could’ve happened but make a kick vs UGA and we’re right where Bama, OU, UGA (would be), Texas are

5 star WRs this year have struggled with drops and inconsistency. Jeremiah Smith started the season that way. Wingo and Ryan Williams have had the dropsies all year. MM has had some drops.

Why in the world did it take so long for perlotte to play? And Harmon only playing a small amount and Bolton playing a ton makes zero sense. I have zero clue what our coaches did over the bye and their thoughts for this game, but it wasn’t good. I fully expect to lose some talented players over lack of playing time. And I don’t blame them.

What if those guys hadn’t earned the PT over other players? Do those things not matter?

And every team will lose players due to PT that they don’t necessarily want to lose. That’s the portal world.

I see Florida as another game where our team will score points. But defense wont be able to get off the field. Lots of yards between the twenties but other team will out physical. inability to run will hurt.

Agree.

But UGA could’ve lost to us and FL.

Bama lost to FSU, could’ve also lost to Mizzou and USCe.

OU could’ve lost to AUB and us.

Texas lost to FL, could’ve lost to UK (OT), Miss St (OT), and Vandy.

Everybody is basically the same and all these rosters cost mega $$$.

I do think this is the year we see a 3-loss team get to the playoffs. It won’t be us, but I do think we see one squeak in.

It’s gonna be fun to watch! More fun obviously with the Vols but nobody is head and shoulders above everyone else unless OSU is and who knows if they are or not.

I just feel like there’s no real solid team that’s above any others. Has OSU even played a team currently in the Top 25? Asking not to be sarcastic, I truly don’t know.

loser mentality that’s exactly why the media and almost everyone outside of Knoxville doesn’t take this football program seriously. Ran on loser bend over and get screwed mentality. Look at the successful coaches they all have the killer instinct and never satisfied. There is absolutely no rationale to Tennessee losing that game next week. Florida has sucked the last 5 years and Tennessee has a 2-2 record against that dumpster fire. Not to mention they fired their head coach a few weeks ago for being a dumpster fire. Time to gut out this consistent loser second class program mentality
