I know you youngster don't know who this guy was but he was a pretty good player for the New Jersey Nets in the 80's. Was Drafted by Knicks in 1978..

IDK that guy, but my 4 YO has that era jersey (Monroe) in his closet.

MRR had some pretty solid stats. His trajectory looked insane after his 2nd year (50% from the field, 15 ppg, 10 apg, 6.6 rpg....but he didn't really progress from there (mostly regressed). Looks like he had a big year his 2nd to last year, out of nowhere.

Derik Queen has been solid for New Orleans, and I see the vision, but holy hell is that trade a disaster for the Pelicans.

Not only do they not have their pick in 2026, they also traded Indiana's pick back to them to get #23 so they could move up to #13, and Indiana is 1-11. Good God.
