Hope he's right.

“I mean, I’m old, and I go back to the 90’s when Tennessee had top five teams that couldn’t win down there. But I just think this Florida team has mailed it in. I guess we’ll watch them play this weekend against Ole Miss. But they just, to me, look like a team that’s ready to go to the house, ready to go the beach, or go snow skiing or something. They just don’t look like they really care much about playing football anymore. So with that being said, Tennessee’s still got some things to play for. They’ve got two big games — that one (Florida) and Vandy. So I guess maybe I’m going to break mold here and say I think Tennessee will win. I think they’re going to win. Put it this way — you put me on the spot, so I’m gonna be completely honest — if they don’t win this year, if Tennessee doesn’t win at the Swamp, I’m not sure the good Lord’s gonna let me live long enough to ever see it happen.”

so then we can all agree that something drastic needs to happen to our coaching staff if we lose to these Gators? like we can all agree on that right now and not have stupid "negavol" name-calling later?

Chris Low used to understand, but seems to have forgotten: this is a game made up of 105 testosterone-driven young men on each team.

They can mail it in one week, then play like nothing in the universe is more important the next. And then back to mailing it in the week after that.

Let's don't count the lizards out just yet.

no, just no. Florida lost to the lowly Wildcats. they didn't just lose to them they got blown the hell out of the building. they scored 7 points on the same Kentucky team we scored 56 on.

if we lose to this Florida team it's the end of Tennessee football. mark my words. next year will be like 2017 if we cannot beat this Gators team.

They also took UGA to the wire, like UT did. Don't underestimate the opponent, especially not UFl in Gainesville.

I'm not underestimating them. I'm flat out saying we better damn well beat them. there's absolutely no excuse that saves Heupel's job if we lose to them this year. this is easily the most beatable Florida team that possibly Tennessee has ever faced. certainly the most beatable since Steve Spurrier got there.
