Whatever Obama, Bush, Slow Joe, or Trump can do to make this all appear to work for the next 25+/- years is all good in my selfish book. (I would say I probably won't make it out intact, but we can all hope)

If one wants to really know why our school system really sucks, its that the common person is still trying to make sense of all this. They all keep telling me, we just need a new plan. 😂

You don’t know them well enough.

They’re both pretty much the same source of misery, in my experience: being stuck between the position of trying to get the general public to do what’s best for themselves and, failing that, trying to get the machine they work within to care about general public.

Are college degrees not worth it because of wage stagnation and higher education costs, or are they not worth it based on some other criteria, in your opinion?

A couple of them are close friends. I can speak confidently as to their happiness. When I think about it, most of them are all late 50s to early 70s and are either retired or close to it, and those close to it don't work all the time. That's got much to do with the lack of misery
