For all of you YoutubeTV subscribers, suffering without ESPN

This is a minor nitpick, but the credit should have been applied automatically. I received an email stating another email would be coming about the credit. Then I received said email with an outside link to visit and claim credit.

Just a lot of extra silly bs for something that is on these billion dollar companies, not me. Just apply it automatically and be done with it.

SIAP but can someone correct me if I’m wrong…. In reading the fine print of the Hulu + Live TV pkg it looks like you only get the ESPN Select programming (legacy ESPN+) and not ESPN Unlimited. Is this correct? If so, that’s a bogus deal.

I dunno if it’s meant to be a sleazy tactic as I imagine it’s hard to account for the people who got yttv only for only sports, if anything they didn’t have to give a credit.
If was included, it’s part of what you paid for. They had to offer some compensation.

The sooner everyone realizes the media conglomerates work hand in hand and are ALWAYS going to get your money, the better!!! Next month or three, there will be another “dispute” then everyone will be upset about that one. Last year it was DirecTV.

Also, you would be wise to detach from all things Google anyway!

Totally support YT TV and their fight against the evil Disney and ESPN empire. More services need to take up the fight and expose the greedy b——s.
It’s astonishing how one post can explain something clearly and the very next comment is of a complete opposite understanding.

This is why our two party political system works so well to keep us poorer and less free after every election.

I just signed up for a 5 day trial with DirecTV Stream so I can give it a run over the weekend and see all the ESPN games (and Vols). One thing that immediately stood out to me is the picture quality...considerably better on DTV (vs YTTV). I like how easy it is to pick favorites, show only sports, navigate the guide...so far I am impressed and if this weekend goes well will be making the switch. I am using the app on my Sony Bravia. They offer a Gemini streaming device if your TV does not have the app and it has some cool features on it but so far I am happy with the App.

My internet service is through Spectrum. No complaints from me with my internet, but I've never used their streaming service and I'm curious about it. Anyone use it, pros cons etc.? I'm about fed up with YTTV.

I’ve been on Dtv a long time, they sent email 2mo ago that ESPN full package is included at no extra charge….for now….i can’t imagine that will stay free for much longer.

Make sure to claim your $20 credit. It's not much, but it would pay for 2/3 of an ESPN Unlimited subscription.

Anyone heard any updates on the negotiations?
Thanks @Freak, worked like a charm. I also had the Disney+ bundle and the YTTV interface is a lot better IMO.

Another note, I believe Disney's strategy here is likely tied, in part, to getting subs to upgrade their plans. I had a legacy bundle and the only way for me to get the games was to upgrade to Unlimited. Another $5/mo or $60/year. Forced obsolecence for those of us with lower pricing,.... Very underhanded IMO.

I'll look forward to your feedback on Saturday's games. If you have a chance to use the DVR featu, I'd love to know how that is. I plan to do that trial next weekend, but for this week it'll be Freak's replay.
