True that we didn’t take care of business but neither did they. You realize that list of possible playoff teams was from before Memphis lost to Tulane don’t you? Not sure I’d call that “taking care of business”. Try to do better next time.

They had a running game. They have a passing game. TN doesn't have a running game unless we play teams like new Mexico state this weekend. TN running game gets shut down, passing only. What Oklahoma did. Coach at Memphis is a lot better than coach H. He can manage the clock better.

Better than the vols crapping in games every year. When's the last time we won the SEC? 98 since Championship. We got to have an offensive mind coach instead of spreading everyone out, hurry up offense. The good teams have figured this out. It's nothing new. TN use to be known for the running game first and then use your wide receivers in critical points. Now they pass to see if the receivers can just jump up for the ball. Try to get a flag thrown.

You are delusional. Memphis would not even have a winning record in the SEC. Memphis is not good they just play a crappy schedule Tennessee has already played three teams that are far better than anyone on Memphis’s schedule.

I said this in this very thread and I'll repeat it-- what do you suppose Tennessee's record would be if we played Memphis's schedule? What do you suppose Memphis's record would be if they played our schedule? Its a fair question.

Weird how teams have "figured out" CJH's offense yet it still leads the nation or is in the top 5 nearly every season.

And yes the Vols are better than the Tiggers now, last year, next year and always will be...we actually play a schedule

You still aren’t keeping up. Memphis has done well in the kiddie pool. They play in a nothing conference against minor league competition. Let them step into the deep end and see how fast they sink. They are a never was and a never will be. Again, do better.

Just a totally let down of a season based on how the GA game ended, how poorly the play calling was against AL and OK.

Oh yeah. Forgot about them. Certainly UT Martin and Eastern KY are better competition than Georgia and Alabama. Just like UAB and East Carolina. Just can’t compare the inferior teams in the SEC to the powerhouses in the AAC, OVC and Sunbelt.

Which one? The guy that flipped and was down but refs helped them out or Phillip Fulmer hell bent on running the ball all game while ignoring the fact that Peyton Manning was his QB with stud WR’s. That loss was 100% on Phillip Fulmer being hard headed.
