Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Don’t know if Pitt or ND is better. They would def put 3 loss ND in before us and Pitt has GT and Miami remaining. I could see ND beating Pitt and then Pitt beating Miami helping us because that knocks both of them out since I think they’d put us in over 3 loss Pitt or Miami.

There is still a lot of carnage ahead of us that can happen. Just win and hopefully Vandy is a “playoff” team on that last Saturday so that when you beat them you can sell a victory over one and a close loss to UGA.

Would still need OU to lose to Bama (certainly possible) and one of Missouri or LSU (more unlikely)
I disagree. Nation would have a meltdown as many already hate that they don’t play in a conference and would have a way worse resume than us.

Just bite the bullet and switch to Hulu. I did. Not as great user interface as YTTV but paying the same price.

Now once Hulu raises prices again - just like YTTV was doing and will continue to do - I suppose I’ll go for whatever route gives me access to sports only and will never see anything else on tv lol.
I switched to Fubo
. Get more for about the same $$ or maybe a little less.

Don’t go labeling me as a racist because a basketball tweet was randomly plopped into the football recruiting forum where boo has been a consistent topic of conversation. You pot stirring unnecessarily and I don’t appreciate it. Based?
...I must be missing something here lol. Then again, Im very tired. 'Twas just a joke though.

I made a joke the other day: "Cause the governor said to."
If I’m the governor in Louisiana, knowing what I assume about how government runs there and how things happen behind the scenes, I wouldn’t touch this situation with a 10 foot pole, lest the govs office itself come under any scrutiny.

The governor in Louisiana has had that sort of influence over the board at LSU for decades. There's a lot of history behind the governor meddling in LSU affairs.

You're right. It's pretty much suicide. Yes, the success of LSU sports affects the governor's popularity in the state, but that's only because Louisianans understand the governor ALWAYS meddles in LSU affairs! I had no idea of this history until I started digging the other day on the insanity in that state currently. What's happened is the governor has so much control that now they think they are the best person to make all of the administrative hires when they are probably the least-qualified.

This is a real good read on the topic. LSU fans are pretty resolved to their fate. They get how bad all this looks to a perspective coaching candidate. That's the difference between them and Gator fans. How Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry amassed the power to fire AD Scott Woodward -- and what comes next

I love a good conspiracy theory ...............

Did the Mafia burn down Eric Spoelstra's house after the Terry Rozier crap to keep him silent?
We know the Mob exists. We know they run Las Vegas. Those things aren't conspiracies, they are well-documented. It's a theory that they burned down his house. It's a theory that all these celebrities who show up with shiners in public are suffering humiliation rituals meant to keep them in line. Theories normally remain so because they cannot be proven. But there truly are no coincidences.

I really hate that people post tweets on here without the context that they are fake. It seems more likely to me they do it because they don't realize they are fake. But before I share a tweet on here, I make sure it's not a fake! So I assume others do that cursory research as well, thus I respond to fake news.

lol I didn't know it was fake. Read a bunch of replies and no one said anything at first. I just wanted to be the first to post it here...
