At least we got something out of an otherwise lost season by finding our catcher for hopefully the next 10+ years and a rotation mainstay(Waldrep). Now we need AA not to botch the off-season. I thought Kinley
might have been worth keeping around he pitched pretty good for us

I think it's more affordable than you may think. Minny wants move their remaining contracts and this past trade deadline shows that they are not good at getting the best value from their assets.

Buxton and Lopez both have injury concerns as well that detract from their value.

I wonder if Reynaldo Lopez could be on the move, purely as a salary dump of course. He wants to start but he fits better in the pen with his injury history. If he's not willing to move to the pen, I think the FO just moves on to free up the cash. A team like Oakland might have some interest.

They need Lopez in the bullpen and no one is taking that contract

What’s dumb is this can easily be fixed with some bounce back years. Rotation should be a monster. Harris can’t be as bad as he was last year. A full year of Kim is worth 2 wins. Profar for a full year. Riley being 2023 Riley. Just got to fix the bullpen and pray Weiss can fix the clubhouse issues

If anyone is getting traded, it would be Murphy. Teams desperately need catchers and he’s not super expensive. Even if they got nothing back but salary relief, it would be a good option to explore.
