Trump is the greatest financial mind of his generation, best president in my lifetime, and very in touch with the plight of young people just starting out on their pursuit of the American dream. Everything he does makes complete sense and if you and @volfanhill can’t see it, that’s on you.

Visa holder skips out on their mortgage, what recourse does the lender have? The default won't even affect their credit unlike a US citizen or permanent resident.

It might be if you want to help in avoiding reset i.e. prolong the system a little longer, not so much for one is looking out for themselves as a individual.

Parents bought a two room structure, hard to call it a house and 5 acres $1,000 cash. Added on and on and stopped at 5 bars 2baths all brick.
I have faint memories of the beginning probably 3 yrs old. I joined the navy the year after the 5th br. My dairy was bought on a 10 yr note. Times have changed. And not for the better.

if the visa holder stays in the country the same credit system that exists for citizens will apply.

the way the visa holder could skip out would be to leave the country right?
a citizen or resident could also skip out by leaving the country. the default would have the same impact on them, nadda.

Republicans do need to tread carefully in this OC vote next month. They can't just say no, vote it down and then see the outrage when people get their health insurance bills. It'll kill them in the midterms. I'd advise them to agree to one more round of subsidies and then go to work on a new healthcare plan

my sister is a veterinarian. she had to buy her first home with her BF. allegedly there is some legal agreement about what happens if they break up, still makes me uncomfortable AF.

it took me saving for 10 years to afford a big enough down payment on my house to avoid the insurance.

my down payment on a 1200 sqft 3br 1.5 bath house in a decent area, was within 15k of what my parents paid on a 3000 sqft 5br 3bath house in a nice area about 25 years ago.

Republicans will never “work on a new healthcare plan”. They will only fight what the Dems propose to maintain the status quo.
