'26 TN WR Tyreek King (Tennessee)

King reminds me a lot of Desean Jackson who played at Cal back in the day. Just that effortless speed where it looks like they are never running at more than a light jog.
Was at the Cal game back in the day at Berkley 2007... Everyone thought we'd boat race them, then Jackson gets his hands on the ball... holy crap he sliced and diced us all game... We punted one time and he returned it for a TD and was just playing with us...we only had one or two kids who could even barely keep up with him on defense... Stadium was like a high school though, and they had hippies in trees up on the hill behind the stadium protesting breaking ground on a new facility because they thought there were dinosaur bones or indian remains, can't remember which... they had these little speakers on poles around the field, trying to pump in artificial noise... Ainge, Foster, Hardesty, Colquitt, etc...man we had talent...

All those names….and a certain freshman safety making his college debut. 😎

Yeah, but we had to start Jarod Parrish for the first quarter of the season because Berry was a freshman. 🙄

Right up there with starting Levine over Lewis among that staff’s absurd decisions.

The Cal game was the only game he didn’t start at strong safety in his career at UT. As a matter of fact I think he started the Cal game at FS and then moved the following week.

You sure about that? I remember being really frustrated with Parrish playing over Berry. But maybe Berry started and Parrish was just coming in and playing significant minutes.

I’m sure that he started every game at SS after that game. UT media guide says he started every game as a freshman but he may have played FS that day.

You can say that again lol jk...but yes I remember that game. He started as free safety before being moved but he was definitely out there with the 1's.
