Banks is in charge of safeties. My guess is he decided who we would pursue, not Willie. Hell, he's the DC. He has say on every defensive recruit. And my guess is we have pursued better safeties and just simply failed to get them. If we had a good safeties coach, maybe we could get some.

If we are being honest, we would dominate all 5 teams in front of us who lost…Louisville, Virginia, Iowa, Washington, Mizzou (with their current QB). We should move up to 20 but I am sure the 2 loss teams will stay in front of us, and then I won’t be surprised that someone jumps in front of us from being unranked.

The "why?" of it is irrelevant, and always has been...it does not matter why, it only matters that it happens...over and over and over again. They want us to see "incompetence"...because that is something we will accept as just being a fallible humans, but it is not incompetence, the incompetence is a smokescreen to hide the truth...it is on purpose, it is corruption, and if everybody would call it for what it is, then things would change.

Before anybody chimes in...the officials for once did NOT cause us to lose against Okie...that is true...but they sure as hell did against UGA and Bama.

My eyes certainly tell me that UGA and Bama consistently get favorable calls. The way they hold virtually every play is impressive. Anyway, I did the only thing I could and turned the TV off and joined Orange in protest. Probably have to do the same thing next Saturday when Oklahoma travels to turdville.

I think if the first quarter boys come out and jump on top by a couple scores they will pack it in and quit. If we let them hang around by making mistakes we will be in a dog fight. On the bright side Birmingham will want us to win to set up the Andy game and for us to get the best bowl game possible.

I agree it’s important to finish strong to keep momentum going into the offseason. If we win out all the noise will disappear and we will start next year higher in the polls. I think it’s more important for getting difference makers in the portal than high school recruits. If we lose one or two more games this place will be insufferable and portal players will take pause.

So you say there's a chance??? Last I heard, VOLS brought in number 2 ratings behind Bama. Networks like this. That would help us if there are many many upsets. As for VOLS vs. Vandy-- Pavia is an excellent running quarterback, but we did stop him last year. Everyone down on Banks but we had one of the top defense in the country last year.. Injury killed us this year. If we get rid of him, I'm good but I am also good if he stays.

Read that it's a little better if we win out but to make CFP playoffs a lot of things must happen. First is hoping Oklahoma and Texas lose to Georgia and Alabama this coming weekend..

Like they said on College GAMEDAY yesterday. Teams and fans better hope Notre Dame loses to Pittsburgh this upcoming weekend, if they don't that's a spot taking...
