It will mean nothing and there are no more "must wins"..our staff is what it is.

Do all the wins they have had the last 4 years suddenly mean nothing because they lose a game....don't be fooled by this UF-UK game, this is one of those zero effort "quit" games they have had tons of over the last decade, only to show up with their hair on fire to play us...I guarantee you Florida will not play like this against us.

Disagree. If we lay down and lose to Florida and/or Vandy, it could hurt our standing with undecided recruits. Every game left is "must win" in the sense we need to project the image of a strong program to keep our recruiting going. 9-3 is more attractive to recruits than 8-4 or 7-5.

I don't think we will lay down against anybody...but how the hell do you blame Heupel if Lagway suddenly turns into Superman like AR and Spencer did in 22, and about a million other crappy QBs have against us in my lifetime?...those guys sucked all year and then suddenly magically COULD NOT MISS against us.

People literally never count on craziness like that happening...but crappy scattergun QBs suddenly playing like Seal snipers against us is a tale as old as time.

Beating Vandy is going to be a chore...their offense is just as good as ours, or at oeast it's close, and their defense is a way better than ours.

There are going to be 7-5 SEC teams that could wipe the floor with anybody on any given day....Sankey is a freaking moron for that 9 game crap...I do not understand why the SEC schools aren't ready to fire his stupid ass over the pure incompetence he has shown the last few years...Tony Pettiti has made Sankey his little ****h lately, and the SEC is going to suffer greatly for his stupidity, weakness and gross incompetence.

It's not about me, you, or anybody else blaming Heupel. Recruits respect winning. They're "must win" games in that we need to impress recruits.

I skipped the last 7 days of pages. First time being on really or having anything to do with college football since the misery of last weekend. I’m probably beating a dead horse with this statement but this season tore my heart apart . I’ve never stepped away from anything volsport related in my life including the Dooley years and it’s not because of coaching or the players. It’s honestly how every loss has happened. It’s because this team should be 5th in the rankings. I stand on my opinion that the only team to truly beat us this year is Alabama. It’s like every mistake this team makes is game changing instead of having a minimal effect. Losing Boo, McCoy, Carter(Turf Toe) & Gibson on defense took away a special season and it’s no fault of anyone. We’ve rose back to relevance and it’s crushing to be so damn close again. We’re a missed FG & blocking assignment away from being at the top.


I’ve never witnessed two 14 point swings in crucial games for anyone but I guess it’s the Tennessee way. I believe we win out and possibly back door our way to something special. If not, it’s still remarkable on how this team has played this year.

Its a must win if we think Heup is the answer long term. I think it's fair to say the jury is still out whether he is or not.

Doesn't take away what he has accomplished so far and how he brought us out of the depths of slawness. He deserves all the flowers for that. Even if we were to lose nobody is saying, well let me speak for myself, I'm not saying he should be fired or seat should be warm or anything like that. He has earned some mulligans but losing to THIS Florida team with an interim coach, who more likely will be 3-7 going into this game riding a 3 game losing streak, with a QB who leads the nation in INTs, and who lost to your former OC with a significantly less talented team at the Swamp will let ME know all I need to know moving forward.

You’re overrating the SEC years. A few good teams but overall mostly average teams. Big 10 is the same. The main difference is the bottom, the worst SEC teams would probably spank the worst of the Big 10. The middle and top though is 50/50 ish

You also have to understand even with 9 conference games, the league will be crooked and make sure enough teams get in the playoffs regardless.

Even the Alabama game we shot ourselves in the foot more than they beat us. I’ve felt the same way you have since last weekend and knowing that every loss was very winnable makes me feel even worse smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

People blaming Sankey for the 9 game SEC schedule. Didn't the SEC school have to agree with it before it could happen?

So the only ones that should be blamed is the 16 teams that are the SEC..
