Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Yea thats why I didnt count them. They have Baylor @ Baylor next week so a potential upset completely knocks them out.
No guarantees Louisville and Virginia drop below us. IMO, they should, but they each have 2 losses to our 3. The difference is our losses are all to ranked teams. Theirs are not. Hopefully the committee takes that into account.

I saw that Reece Witherspoon and Theo Vonn were at Vandy today, presumably separately, and it reminded me of a video I saw last night about how Theo actually got his start and his ACTUAL backstory.

Riddle/math puzzle nerds will like this:

In short: 100 prisoners (each numbered 1-100) will be let free if they can each go into a room with 100 boxes, 1 at a time (each numbered box has a number inside of it 1-100) and find their number. Every prisoner can open up to 50 boxes to find their number. Once they leave the room, everything is reset back to how it was. The prisoners can't communicate after leaving the room, but they can all strategize beforehand.

If each prisoner picks 50 boxes at random, the odds of them escaping (all 100 find their number) is 1 in 1.27 octillion.

But with the right strategy, they have a 31% chance to escape.

And no, it's not a game of information or a trick, just math.

Some key games next week.

Clemson vs Louisville - Be nice if Louisville took a third loss.
Michigan vs Northwestern - Michigan is ranked ahead of us. Need them to lose.
Notre Dame vs Pittsburgh - Eff ND.
Iowa vs USC - Need USC to lose
Oklahoma vs Bama - Sadly, it helps us if Bama wins
Utah vs Baylor - Need a Baylor upset
Texas vs Georgia - Again, sadly, it helps us if the dawgs win.
TCU vs BYU - Need a TCU upset.

All likely to happen besides Pitt beating ND.

Isn't the big bang how you were conceived when your mom went to the biker bar?

Is is as weird as the hold UF has over UT?
Nah. UK has way less talent than UF. By miles. And we have won 2 of the last 3 over UF, so shmerk'it.

It's also just come about recently. They lost to UF for ~30 years straight. It is odd

My point was you can't blame "stargazers" for taking Nico. We didn't make that decision.
I know...I was just saying "blaming" anyone for that decision is stupid to start with...I mean Nico will have plenty of big suitors lined up, and he will get his big paycheck back next year...just based on his prodigious ability....and I get it.

Like him or not...and I definitely do not...if the light really starts to click on and he gets hooked up with the right coach and team...Nico will be a force to reckon with.

Every year going forward the SEC is going to have multiple 3 (and dare I say even 4!) loss teams that could beat 98% of the teams in the country and could be playoff contenders. It really is a bloodbath in this conference...
I've been trying to tell everyone that all year.

You could tell me a Bama win means the forces of Hell wouldn’t breach the mortal plain and I’d still say “I don’t give a damn about the whole state of Alabam!” So 🖕 em.

It’s tough to watch. Rational me says “no way they can get officials to fix the game “. But my eyes see Bama get call after call, year after year. Hard to believe they could actually get officials to do it but my gosh you have to wonder. Same thing for Georgia.
Do this one thing if you can...quit asking the question "Why?"..and just actually SEE what happens..and you will never be blind again.

The "why?" of it is irrelevant, and always has been...it does not matter why, it only matters that it happens...over and over and over again. They want us to see "incompetence"...because that is something we will accept as just being a fallible humans, but it is not incompetence, the incompetence is a smokescreen to hide the truth...it is on purpose, it is corruption, and if everybody would call it for what it is, then things would change.

Before anybody chimes in...the officials for once did NOT cause us to lose against Okie...that is true...but they sure as hell did against UGA and Bama.

According to the calendar I just looked at, the early signing period is December 3rd-5th. We're less than a month away from the ESP. This season feels like it has flown by.
