OK, I rescind my criticism. Didn't realize it was an airport layover. Texas bbq is typically no sauce as well, so you really should leave the airport some time if you're able, it'll change your opinion on STL and Memphis if you're anything like me.My brother in Christ, I was at the airport lol
I HAVE had good BBQ in Texas. That place in College Station was fantastic. Best creamed corn and brisket I've ever had.
However, the King Ranch served me garbage brisket that they basically just steamed in the pan and drowned in sauce.
Also, its tongue-in-cheek. I am a fan of Memphis and St. Louis style BBQ. Preference for dry rubs ()
