I HAVE had good BBQ in Texas. That place in College Station was fantastic. Best creamed corn and brisket I've ever had.

However, the King Ranch served me garbage brisket that they basically just steamed in the pan and drowned in sauce.

Also, its tongue-in-cheek. I am a fan of Memphis and St. Louis style BBQ. Preference for dry rubs ()

OK, I rescind my criticism. Didn't realize it was an airport layover. Texas bbq is typically no sauce as well, so you really should leave the airport some time if you're able, it'll change your opinion on STL and Memphis if you're anything like me.

I’ve been to Kreuz, Smittys, and Blacks in Lockhart. All really good. Blacks was my favorite in the town.

I’ve heard Hutchins and Cattleack are among the best in DFW.

Both are fantastic. Nobody beats goldees in dfw though.

Agree and this years squad can’t play complimentary football so not sure it matters. Bama is gettable, no doubt.
