If Auburn can put up 550 yards and 38 points on Vandy, we might put up 700 yards and 60. Auburn has been awful on offense and they rolled through Vandy like through a goose. Not sure why folks think Vandy is going to dominate us at Neyland. It may be a high scoring game but I’m pretty sure we can handle them. Now if our players are just mailing it in, that’s a different story. Kudos to Auburn for not mailing it in.
I'm kinda looking forward to the "new" Vandy fans seeing how things really work in the UT/Vandy series lol.
The Candy fans since 2024 are gonna get quite a shock to the system.
I have made fun of the people whining about Heupel all week, but I swear to you-we lose to Candy and I will supply the pitchforks lol .
Perhaps we should start a collective rumor that Neyland is haunted by the ghosts of past stars-Cafego, Reggie White breathing loudly in meeting rooms, stuff like that. Maybe stage a few "sightings", etc. Maybe next week when we are beating NMSU by 50 have a player trip intentionally and then later swear that a hand reached up from the ground and grabbed his foot ha ha Perhaps have the archeology dept produce a study that Neyland is built on top of a Native American burial ground lol. (There may be some truth to that anyway as Lord knows we are cursed)
Not a fan of Pavia, but to give him his due he doesn't quit. He just seems to put his team on his shoulders and marches on. Only way to stop him is keep him off the field.
everyone's getting all scared over Vandy but keep in mind they had to take a 4-5 fired HC Auburn team to OT to get a win. Pavia is good and he is a factor but they're not playing elite teams. He will pass on us as our secondary is a bit porous but we should be able to put them in their place
