This sounds like a cheap attempt at kidnapping someone!We should do a VN lunch here in Knoxville somewhere. @InVOLuntary 's treat.
I don't think @InVOLuntary would kidnap anyone.This sounds like a cheap attempt at kidnapping someone!
For some reason because @InVOLuntary may think CJH has reached his ceiling, then he wants CJH fired... according to some of the fans...Mine is as well. There seems to be a perception that if someone thinks this, they don’t appreciate where we are versus where we have been. I don’t really understand that logic.
Last year the stats indicated that the defense let up less points year over year under Banks. Def not the case this year. I give them a partial Mulligan with CB1 and CB2 lost for the year. We beat ugga if we don’t have a true freshman CB for them to pick on early in the season. Now we know we essentially lost Boo for the year. Should we have let him go in the summer? Maybe but we were already thin with exoerience at DB. So losing 3 starting DB’s is almost hard to come back from. Most teams would never stand a chance. The Lions are an outlier.. I only give partial excuse because we lost so much on the back end to the portal and didn’t back fill enough. On the flip side no one could have controlled the Nico situation or prepared for it. What they have accomplished with Joey is miraculous…No, a straw man argument is when you dismiss facts. The facts are we haven't beat a ranked team in 5 consecutive tries. The facts states that we struggled against every SEC team, not named KY. Even allowed them to score way above their season average. I thought you guys loved statistics. You know last season when I was complaining about Banks and y'all were spouting all these stats? Now I use stats and I'm "cherry picking". Which is it?![]()
Nope - not allowed to state your personal observations on a message board. That would be bad.For some reason because @InVOLuntary may think CJH has reached his ceiling, then he wants CJH fired... according to some of the fans...
Crazy Narrative.
You can't just change the definition of a straw man fallacy to fit your narrative. Straw man has nothing to do with "dismissing facts" lmao.No, a straw man argument is when you dismiss facts. Let creation steady your steps today. The rustle of trees, the rhythm of water, the quiet chorus of morning — each carries a reminder that God still speaks in gentle patterns. This is a day to let shared moments and simple connections draw you closer to Him. Notice the way conversations lift your spirit, how shared faith sharpens your sense of direction, and how community becomes a shelter to your soul. Let nature teach you stillness, and let fellowship teach you strength.
Psalm 19:1–2
The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
and night unto night reveals knowledge.
Think the argument of Heupel ceiling is based on recency bias. This team isnt very talented, esp on back end on defense. How that happened, no idea.@InVOLuntary I just want to say, I do like you and we agree on most things. I just disagree with your conclusion that he's hit his ceiling so young in his career. Then with the logic/argument you're making against fans who disagree with that take is by misrepresenting what they're saying.
You can have the opinion he's hit his ceiling while also not painting the rest of us as dumb or "not wanting winning enough" for disagreeing.
We're rooting for the same team on Saturdays, that's what matters though.
gracias amigoHappy Saturday
