The Lviv video is taken from Lychakiv Cemetery. the cemetery has 30,000+ total graves, and has been in use since the 1800s. The flags were shown on the Field of Mars section, which is for the graves of Ukrainian-Soviet troops that died up till 1974, including many that died fighting Nazis. the flags are placed on their equivalent of Memorial Day and VE days. They do have a section for this war with Russia, and at least based on the map on wikipedia it is not even the largest area there.

You have to remember this continual outburst all started with smooth brain posting a tweet of a ranting crying male in fatigues railing out against the Kiev government. There was absolutely no distinguishing information in the video of the nationality or allegiance of the individual but it was established he was speaking Russian. The video also had the watermark of Lord Bebo, a well know Russian propagandist, in the lower left. This was all pointed out multiple times to smooth brain. Yet his only response is to keep up the idiotic ā€œbut many Ukrainians speak Russianā€. Heā€™s a unique and special form of slow. So just know all of your valid counter points will never land he doesnā€™t appear to have the mental capacity for them to be absorbed.

In other words, even when American propaganda says mass graves are being dug to accommodate the growing number of Ukrainian dead, those deaths are no big deal to you. They're just dead Ukrainians.

I can't say I have the exact numbers, but my advise is it might be unwise to travel to the Ukraine. And if one really really needs to go, it might be a good idea not to stand to close to a van or bus -> for very good reasons.

This is what many would call throwing good money after bad say about 2 years ago. I'm not sure what you guys are arguing about.

on one level yeah. its why I have never supported us being involved. my stance from day 1 has been to sell them stuff, not give them stuff. never fund their pensions.

on the other level I know enough to not buy what the tankies are selling. you were literally posting videos showing WW2 graves, and trying to claim they were losses from this war. instead of making the honest admission that you posted misleading information, and following up with a video of these mass graves, you double down on the tankie response.

we are arguing that Squirrel posted fake, and untruthful videos. he posted the equivalent of a national military cemetery here in the states and saying "look at all those we lost in Afghanistan, here are their graves"

you posted a video of multiple 200 year old cemeteries and tried to claim they were only losses from this war.

Well, argue on. Most of the people probably won't even be recovered. I wouldn't stand next a bus or van if I lived in Ukraine, if someone thinks otherwise... give it go and write us a letter. (seems like a strange hill to die on, pun intended)

Watch the video again. You're trying to say those are 200-year-old graves? At the 1:53 mark, it's pretty obvious which sections have old graves and which sections are new. The old sections are mass graves; the new sections are mass graves. Look at the tombstones at the 2:05 mark. Are you really trying to say those are from previous wars?

Sell them stuff for what money? Money from what industries? Ukraine's economy is paralyzed, and it was already the poorest country in Europe even before the war. Ukraine has to be financially subsidized in order to buy anything to sustain its war effort.

If I were place bets, very heavy Russian causalities early in the war, slowly reduced to heavy over the first 18 months. The attacker usually loses considerable more numbers unless you are Germany. Since about 2 years ago or so when the FABs started hitting their marks the numbers most likely even outed to a degree. Since the beginning of the year or late last year the numbers most likely are heavy now in favor of the Russians as meat has run out and instead of withdrawing back 100s of miles the bus riders are being forced to defend without resources, training or meat in small pockets.

It appears they are entering a shooting fish in the barrel stage -> super heavy causality rates. Basically, the Ukraine really doesn't have infantry to protect the lines, small pocket of drone operators which are being exposed than shot/fab'd/droned in the mud hole the Ukrainian people bus them to.

This could take considerable time especially if they fall back very far. I don't get it but I really don't have a plan that is going to help them.
