One might posit this could have a positive impact on general healthcare due to lowering issues associated with the pretty rampant amount of obesity we've had for years.

One more excuse for people to not strive for physical fitness.

People have other things to do than “strive for physical fitness”. If people can be more fit without dedicating more time they don’t have, it sounds like a benefit

There truly are some folks that have conditions that cause obesity and they can’t help it. There are some that don’t have the discipline to exercise and push their big butt away from the dinner table. That’s where I have a problem subsidizing their addiction. Sorry if that’s cruel but it’s the truth.

Why aren't we focusing on lowering insulin medications for Type 1 Diabetics who were born with the disease. We've been producing life saving insulin for decades and it's prob cheaper to get some ozempic instead for people who eat too many donuts

GLP-1s are exciting new drugs. Lots of potential benefits, but of course, some drawbacks.

One thing is certain about this president....he looks out for people who look like him.
I know some people need it because of life threatening issues from serious obesity and that's great if it helps. but I wonder if some are just taking it to look good in their tennis outfit in the weekends because it's easier than putting in the work to drop weight
